At times I sew for people but, I don't feel it like making dolls. I created this outfit from my head no pattern at all was used. I just cut and sew the African way.
Most days I just have to make something, anything. I love keeping my hands busy. It is joyous to create.

People from all over the World visit Harlem USA the place where I was born. I was born in the first Harlem Hospital. Who would have thought, that over forty years later, I would be vending my Handmade, one of a kind art dolls, across the street in front of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
