Why I Make Dolls ?
I Absolutely Love It!!!!
So much goes into making a doll, it's a hobbie, I have grown to Love.
I put a great deal of positive energy into making them. Without this energy they wouldn't be half as appealing. They are extremely attractive and therefore attract all types of individuals, from various walks of life.
I am amazed by the gazes and stares from the want to be passerbys who, can't stop walking towards them completely, entranced with a dozen or so questions all rolling around in their mouths trying to rush to their brains,all at once.
I see it over and over how, the dolls pull them over with the biggest smile on their faces. They always want to immediately know who did it. They ask, "Did you make these dolls? I reply, "Yes, I did"! Naturally, I have a smile too because, I am so proud and happy to see they appreciate my work.
But my purpose for creating them first and foremost is to give Thanks and Honor to my Ancestors lost in the TransAtlantic Slave Trade. That is the focal point of my creations the cornerstone of their success will always be LOVE...
