Your dolls are very creative but the name "slave" dolls is not. I'm certain you can find a more postive name to name your beautiful creations.

I am not offended because, it is not my doing this is done by my Ancestors.
These dolls are not slave dolls. They represent slaves, big difference.
Why were they created?
These TRANS-ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE DOLLS were created to give Honor and Thanks to mine and your Ancestors and they are extremely, extremely - POWERFUL HEALING DOLLS! You are right not many will want a doll that is called a slave and It is my dream/hope that no hueman will ever be called a slave again.
T.A.S.T.E. Dolls are created to teach those who have never heard about the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade; you would be shocked to know just how many people haven't. My elders have given me their full blessings and I know not many people wish to deal with the wounds left from slavery but, if one does not know their history they will be doomed to repeat it.
I will never be offended by your reflections, the Goddess in me Salutes the Goddess in You. I know my purpose and That is what I do and I do it with love.
I am not nor will I ever be a follower for I know I did not come here to be administered unto but, I sincerely appreciate all input and thank you graciously. I am not lead by popular demand but, my "T.A.S.T.E." dolls sale themselves. Many times I hold back on parting with them but, they always seem to get away from me because, I think their energy spirits refuse to be held down.
These dolls talk to people in the strangest way. I have heard They are down right chatty. And people tell me that all the time. They have personalities all their own. They are healing and comforting. And, I can't make them fast enough!
Sistah, it's only about one thing and that is the work of my Ancestors. I am only but their tool to reconnect those lost in the wilderness to their rightful place. I was given a gift and now I use that gift to give honor and thanks to my Ancestors I could not change the name even if I wanted to, because it's too late now...
