Happy Mothers’ Day

For all the mothers in the world that continue to struggle to keep food on the table

For all the mothers who gave to their children even though they really weren’t able

For all the mothers who stayed up with a sick child until the wee hours in the morning

For all the mothers who had to deal with ridicule and sometimes scorning

For all the mothers who prayed over and over again

For all the mothers who were told having their child without being married was a sin

For all the mothers who could not afford to buy new cloths for the school pictures

For all the mothers who had to break up the fights between the brothers and the sisters

For all the mothers who tossed and turn when their child had’nt return home on time

For all the mothers who were about to just lose their cotton picking mind

For all the mothers who were ignored and disrespected by a mouthy child

For all the mothers who decided in their minds instead of them crying they’d smile

For all the mothers who pursued their education against all odds

For all the mothers that work three and four jobs

For all the mothers that held it together without their man

For all the mothers who fought and took a stand

For all the mothers who cried themselves to sleep because they didn’t have a plan

For all the mothers who made their children learn and understand

For all the mothers who taught their children right from wrong

For all the mothers who struggle yet, continue to be stronger than strong

For all the mothers who know the true meaning of love

For all the  who comfort their children hand in glove

For all the mothers who know God has the master plan

 and know he is always holding your hand!
